"Drive makes all the difference"

"Whether personal or collective, drive is the common denominator of all entrepreneurial pusuit; of course, then comes the brilliant idea; and finally, the fervent wherewithal to make and market the result.

It is a simple equation: d (drive) + b (brilliant) = c (critical mass)

In terms of physics, two forces - will and intelligence - must be fused in order to generate enough energy to take the entrepreneurial plunge and it's not always easy.

Many designers have good, even great ideas, but odds are most of these simply remain notions rather than become concrete products.

One reason is the inability to move from notion to concept from concept to product because designers have a perceived lack of expertise..."
